Brooklyn, NY (October 30, 2020) – Around 6:25 p.m. on Thursday evening, October 29, a pedestrian accident occurred in Brooklyn.
Police confirmed that the unidentified pedestrian was walking near the intersection of 4th Avenue and 61st Street when they were struck by a passing vehicle. The driver stayed at the scene of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted the pedestrian with injuries. The extent of their injuries is not yet known but the victim was transported to the hospital.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues at this time.
