Queens, NY (December 4, 2020) – Around 7:44 p.m. on Friday night, December 4, a serious car crash with injuries took place at a Queens intersection.
Few details have been released but, according to police, the accident occurred at the intersection of 81st Avenue and Grand Central Parkway. A driver lost control of their vehicle and drove down an embankment off the side of the road. The vehicle rolled.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash. Three patients were extricated from their vehicle by fire crews. The victims were all taken to the hospital for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
