Queens, NY (March 24, 2021) – Around 3:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 24, a multi-vehicle car accident took place on a highway in Queens.
According to police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of The Grand Central Parkway around the area of the La Guardia Airport and 94th Street. Multiple vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Three lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
