Staten Island, NY (April 18, 2021) – Around 6:50 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, April 18, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Staten Island.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Travis Avenue and South Avenue. Two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were present at the scene. Two people were injured due to the accident. The patients were treated at the scene and then taken by ambulance to Staten Island University Hospital. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
