Bronx, NY (May 25, 2021) – At 7:40 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, May 25, a car crash with injuries occurred in the Bronx.
According to police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of the Cross Bronx Expressway around the area of Jerome Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time.
