Brooklyn, NY (June 7, 2021) – At 2 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, June 7, a bus crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Brooklyn.
According to officials, the accident happened at 174 Lincoln Road near the area of Bedford Avenue. The driver of an MTA bus was traveling in the area when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to travel off the side of the road. The bus then crashed into a building.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A total of sixteen people were injured in the crash. Thirteen of those victims were taken to hospitals, though many sustained minor injuries.
The building sustained structural damage as a result of the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
