Queens, NY (July 15, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 15, a car accident with injuries occurred in Queens.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of Whitestone Expressway around the area of Linden Place. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene. One victim, who has not yet been identified, was extricated from one of the involved vehicles and taken to the hospital. They have since been listed in critical condition.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
