Bronx, NY (January 30, 2021) – At 6:10 p.m. on Friday evening, January 29, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in the Bronx.
According to officials, the accident took place when multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the Cross Bronx Expressway around the area of White Plains Road and Westchester Avenue. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the vehicles involved sustained heavy damage.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
