Bronx, NY (October 14, 2021) – At 10:20 p.m. on the night of Thursday, October 14, a car crash with injuries occurred in the Bronx.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the Cross Bronx Expressway around the area of 3rd Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized as a result. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
