Brooklyn, NY – Bus Accident at Flushing Ave and Lee Ave Intersection

Brooklyn, NY (December 9, 2020) – Around 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, December 9, a bus accident with injuries occurred in Brooklyn.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Flushing Avenue and Lee Avenue. Though few details have been released regarding the collision, it is believed that the accident took place when a bus and a van entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damage in the involved vehicles.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. A total of six people were injured in the accident. Two of the victims were treated at the scene and four were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their current conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
