Brooklyn, NY – Carol Langdon Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Fourth Ave

Brooklyn, NY (April 17, 2021) – Around 3:20 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, April 15, a woman was killed in a Brooklyn pedestrian accident.

According to officials, the accident happened on Fourth Avenue around the area of Forest Place near a local car dealership. A 72-year-old woman, later identified as Carol Langdon, was struck by a vehicle traveling in the area.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were present at the scene. Langdon was taken to a local hospital with severe head trauma and was pronounced dead while there.

The driver of the vehicle that struck her, identified as a 29-year-old man, remained at the scene.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation continues.
