Brooklyn, NY (February 17, 2021) – Around 10 p.m. on Monday night, February 15, a fatal pedestrian accident took place at an intersection in Brooklyn.
According to authorities, the accident took place at the intersection of Bay Ridge Parkway and Sixth Avenue. Police confirmed that a 72-year-old man was attempting to cross the intersection when he was suddenly struck by a gray sedan traveling in the area. The driver of the vehicle immediately fled the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
Police have not yet caught up to the driver responsible for the accident. They continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
