Brooklyn, NY (January 5, 2021) – Around 11 p.m. on Monday night, January 4, a serious accident took place between two ambulances in Brooklyn.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Midwood Street and Brooklyn Avenue when two ambulances collided. It is not known what caused the ambulances to collide with each other. One of the ambulances had damage to its front hood, while the other ambulance jumped the curb and was sitting on the sidewalk.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. One of the EMTs was taken to the hospital while the other three were treated at the scene of the collision.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
