Brooklyn, NY – Teen Killed in Fatal House Fire on Pulaski St

Brooklyn, NY (May 19, 2021) – At 6:20 a.m. on Wednesday morning, May 19, a teen was killed in a fatal house fire in Brooklyn.

According to police, the accident happened at 17 Pulaski Street in a four-story residential building. The fire spread out of control quickly and approximately 100 firefighters responded to put out the blaze. When fire crews went on a sweep of the home, they found a 15-year-old boy trapped on the fourth floor.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The 15-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and was pronounced dead while there.

Fire crews were able to get the fire under control around 7:11 a.m.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
