Brooklyn, NY – Two-Car Accident with Injuries on Remsen Ave

Brooklyn, NY (October 27, 2020) – Around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, October 27, a two-car accident with injuries occurred in Brooklyn.

The accident, according to police, took place when two vehicles collided on Remsen Avenue for reasons that are not entirely known. Following the collision, one of the vehicles involved immediately caught fire. One victim had to be extricated from the vehicle as a result.

Paramedics assisted at the scene and transported two people to the hospital. One of the victims was severely injured and is listed in critical condition at Brookdale University Medical Center. The other victim was taken to Brookdale with non-life-threatening injuries. A third victim was treated at the scene and released. Their identities are not yet known.

The accident closed down that portion of the roadway for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
