Brooklyn, NY – Woman Injured in Pedestrian Crash Involving Train at McDonald Ave

Brooklyn, NY (February 11, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, February 10, a woman was injured in a pedestrian crash involving a train in Brooklyn.

According to FDNY, the incident took place on the railroad tracks around the intersection of McDonald Avenue and 18th Avenue. Few details have been released but it is believed that the train struck an elderly woman who was walking in the area.

Paramedics and fire crews immediately responded to the scene. The woman, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Her condition is not currently known.

The area was blocked for some time as police worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
