Manhattan, NY – Fatal Train Accident Involving Pedestrian at E 110th St

Manhattan, NY (March 15, 2021) – Around 6:15 a.m. on Monday morning, March 15, a fatal train accident involving a pedestrian took place in Manhattan.

According to police, the accident took place at the 110th Street station around the area of East 110th Street and Lexington Avenue. For reasons that are not yet known, a pedestrian was struck by a train in the area.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Due to the severity of the accident, the area was blocked for some time until police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
