Manhattan, NY (October 26, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, a pedestrian accident involving a train occurred in Manhattan.
According to the New York Police Department, the accident occurred on East 14th Street around the area of Broadway on the train tracks. The N Line train was traveling through the Union Square Station when it collided with a pedestrian who was on the tracks for unknown reasons.
Due to the severity of the accident, the unidentified victim was extricated from underneath the train by fire crews. They were immediately taken to a local hospital in unknown condition but their injuries are believed to be serious.
No further details have been released but an investigation into the accident continues.
