Manhattan, NY – Pedestrian Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer on W 45th St

Manhattan, NY (February 6, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, February 6, a pedestrian crash involving a tractor-trailer took place in Manhattan.

According to the New York Police Department, the accident took place at the intersection of West 45th Street and Broadway. Police confirmed that a 64-year-old woman was walking in Times Square when she was suddenly struck by a tractor-trailer.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of a serious leg injury. Nobody else was injured.

The truck driver remained at the scene and has been cooperating with the police.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
