Queens, NY – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-495 Near 80th St Leads to Injuries

Queens, NY (July 22, 2021) – At 6:50 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, July 22, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Queens.

According to local police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-495 around the area of 80th Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision sustained immense damages as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time as a result of the accident.
