Queens, NY – One Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Cypress Ave

Queens, NY (October 28, 2020) – Around 7:10 a.m. on October 27, one person was injured in a pedestrian accident in Queens.

According to authorities, the accident took place on Cypress Avenue around the area of Cooper Avenue. The New York Police Department confirmed that a pedestrian was walking across the street when they were struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian, who was not identified, was the only person who was injured as a result of the accident. EMS assisted the pedestrian at the scene and then transported them to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was closed down in several lanes for a period of time following the collision.

No further details have been released. The investigation is currently ongoing.
