Staten Island, NY (May 4, 2021) – At 8:11 p.m. on the night of Tuesday, May 4, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Staten Island.
According to FDNY, the accident happened at the intersection of Arthur Kill Road and Drumgoole Road. Two or more vehicles collided as they entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene. One person suffered from injuries and was taken to Staten Island University Hospital for treatment of their injuries. They are expected to recover. Two others refused medical attention for minor injuries.
The intersection was blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
