Staten Island, NY – Car Accident with Injuries on Fingerboard Rd

Staten Island, NY (April 9, 2021) – At 10:26 a.m. on the morning of Friday, April 9, a car accident with injuries occurred in Staten Island.

According to officials, the accident happened on Fingerboard Road near the area of the Staten Island Expressway and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One person was injured and immediately taken to the Staten Island University Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

The area was blocked in several lanes for a period of time, which led to delays in the area.
