Staten Island, NY – Serious Pedestrian Accident on Bay St

Staten Island, NY (December 23, 2020) – Around 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday morning, December 23, a pedestrian accident occurred in Staten Island.

Few details have been released but it is believed that a woman was walking in the area of 1100 Bay Street near Hylan Boulevard when she was struck by a passenger vehicle traveling through the area.

The woman, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Staten Island University Hospital. She was conscious at the time but had serious injuries. Her current condition is not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
