The Bronx, NY – One Killed When Car Slams into Bus on Bartow Ave

The Bronx, NY (February 14, 2021) – A man died on Saturday, February 13th when the speeding car he was riding in crashed into the back of a stopped bus in the Bronx.

Reports show that the accident took place at about 11:15 p.m. on Bartow Avenue when a silver Nissan Maxima, reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed, slammed into the back of a Metro Transit Authority bus as it sat at a bus stop.

The bus driver and two bus passengers all sustained injuries classified as non-life-threatening.

The 20-year-old driver of the Nissan and his unidentified male passenger were both transported via ambulance to Jacobi Medical Center.

The passenger was pronounced dead and the driver was in critical condition. As of Sunday morning, neither man had been identified.
