Bronx, NY – Truck Accident Leads to Injuries on Cross Bronx Expy

Bronx, NY (December 19, 2020) – Around 5:15 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, December 19, a truck accident took place on a major highway in the Bronx.

According to police, the accident took place when multiple vehicles collided on the Cross Bronx Expressway around the area of Rosedale Avenue. One or more vehicles lost control in the area, which caused them to collide with one another. The accident led to extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
