Queens, NY (April 30, 2021) – Around 7:45 p.m. on Thursday evening, April 29, a fatal moped accident happened on a roadway in Queens. more According to police, the accident happened at Rosatoro Restaurant near the area of 35 th Street and Ditmars Boulevard. A 60-year-old woman was speeding in her Mercedes Benz when she suddenly struck a man driving a moped. The car continued on and struck two unoccupied vehicles and then an outdoor dining structure. Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the moped, identified as a 37-year-old, was found unresponsive in the roadway. He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead while there. A 32-year-old woman was also found at the scene with leg injuries. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
